Welcome to the official site of Marc C. Slootjes. Marc is a Dutch professional artist. He is a self-tought man and proud of it and this way he could create his own unique style, which he calls "Touch and die painting". Touch because he paints with his fingers (no brushes allowed) and die because of the emptiness that he feels after he makes a painting.
Marc’s paintings are oil on canvas, but he calls it dreams on canvas. The image appears in his dreams and then he puts it on canvas. Marc’s dream world is called Thohhworld.
There are a lot of paintings to see in the online gallery. All of the paintings are signed with MCS and the year of creation.
Marc has had several exhibitions in Europe and mainly in Germany, Belgium and of course in the Netherlands. Since October 2008 is he represented by the Agora Gallery in New York City.
